About Me
I was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland, and left at the age of seventeen. In 2014 I graduated from Northwestern University as one of the few engineering students to ever be admitted to the English department’s highly competitive, application-only Creative Writing program. I then spent five years in the Atlanta suburbs with General Motors before deciding to pursue business school and bona fide product management. After completing my MBA at Yale School of Management in 2021, I drove cross-country to Seattle with my dog and cat riding shotgun.
I continue to study writing through UCLA Extension, and I have taken classes with Radhika Sharma and Francesca Lia Block. A significant portion of my time is spent assisting members of historically marginalized communities in their pursuit of graduate education or professional tech roles. When I am not working, writing, or cleaning up after my pets, I play ice hockey and complete the NYT crossword puzzles in ink.
